Los Angeles, CA - April 23, 2009 – A noted dentist, acupuncturist and Academy of General Dentistry Fellow in Los Angeles, California, Henry Hang-Yee Fung has much to offer when it comes to spreading Buddhism and good will. Since early youth, Fung has been cultivating and learning Buddhism exercising strict self-discipline, humility and benevolence. Upon acceptance as a disciple to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III over a decade ago to learn Buddha Dharma, Fellow Fung pursued higher studies in sutras, precepts, and treatises and committed to the will with pure bodhicitta to save all sentient beings, adopting great compassion as his guiding principle and regarding the propagation of Buddha Dharma for the welfare of living beings as his primary obligation. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III had once foretold that Fung is “an incarnated Rinpoche” and in due course, “you will naturally be recognized by an eminent monk.”

Last year, karmic conditions have matured. While observing his meditation practice on December 12, 2008, H.E. Dharma King Tsongkhan Angwang Hwadang DamBe Gyingtsan (Zongkang Angwang Huadan Danbei Jienzan) was directed by the dankinis and recognized that Henry Fung is the 7th incarnation of Gyangya GongGyu Gyulna (Jiangjia Gongjue Jungnai) Rinpoche, belonging to the Gelug sect, and renamed Gyangya Ngagwang Drakpa (Jiangjia Awangzaba).

Dharma King Tsongkhan Angwang Hwadang DamBe Gyingtsan is presently the highest leader of the Geluk Order of Buddhism in China and chief dharma king of Kumbum (also known as Ta’er) Monastery founded by and birthplace of Guru Tsongkhapa. The holy monk is also granted special permission by the Chinese government acknowledging his power in the recognition of Rinpoches. During the recognition process of Jiangjia Awangzaba Rinpoche, Dharma King Tsongkhan beseeched the dakinis and dharma protectors to bless the Rinpoche in propagating Tathāgata’s orthodox dharma to benefit living beings. Therefore, Jiangjia Awangzaba Rinpoche has now set up a dharma center in Los Angeles called the Great Compassion Bodhi Association to spread authentic Tathāgata true dharma taught by Dorje Chang Buddha III and Shakyamuni Buddha.

In this lifetime, Jiangjia Awangzaba Rinpoche maintains good relations with many virtuous Rinpoches. Amongst them are the renowned Venerable DaTrul II Hengsheng Rinpoche, Venerable Khu-ston brTson-‘grus g.yung-drung V Henghsing Gyatso Rinpoche who completed pilgrimage around the island of Taiwan, Venerable Xirao Jiebu II Tubten Gengsang Rendro Rinpoche, Dorje Jueba II Longzhou Rinpoche, and Dharma King Venerable Muya, to name a few, all fellow vajra brothers with whom he shares the privilege to study and learn dharma directly under Dorje Chang Buddha III. Especially noting that Tubten Gengsang Rendro Rinpoche had made attempted efforts in identifying Jiangjia Awangzaba Rinpoche’s incarnated identity. He is also well acquainted with notable monastics in both esoteric and exoteric Buddhism such as Master Yin Hai, Master Guang Qin, Master Sheng Yen, Bhante Chao Chu, Geshe Lobsang Tsephel, Gesang Dingdan Khenpo, Losang Galang Khenpo, Dunzhu Lama, etc.
